Sounds good to me but I’m no expert. Seems to me as long as the player is

Fairly paid for work delivered & not egregiously paid you should be safe. I don’t know that it even matters whether you’re a booster or not. I doubt the NCAA would look kindly if an athlete was given a cash gift by someone who had never been on campus or ever given a dollar to the school if it was perceived that the gift was coming from a fan of a certain school.
